1.Higher rate of interest

  • Offer 0.5% higher interest rate than the normal savings account

 

2. Life insurance cover for Account Holder

  • 10 times of the balance upto a maximum of Rs. 500,000/- will be paid at the death (Natural/Accident) / Permanent Disability (due to accidents only) of the account holder
  • Terms & conditions:

- Minimum balance of Rs.10,000/- should  be continuously maintained for a minimum period of 6 months before the death/ Permanent Disability

- Claims to be submitted to the bank within 5 months of the incident

- Covers only upto age of 60 years

3. Debit Cards

  • You would be issued a debit card that can be used at any ATM or POS machine in Sri Lanka and other countries to withdraw cash, and to purchase goods and services at any local or overseas vendor/outlet accepting Visa or Master card payment option.

 

4.BOC Credit Card without joining fee*

  • Credit cards can be obtained by those with a permanent income source

 

5. Loans on low interest

  • Loans with low interest rates can be obtained through special loan schemes if collateral is ensured 
  • Instant loans upto 90% of the account balance

 

6.  Other facilities

  • Leasing on reduced interest rate ( 0.5% concession) *
  • Ran Surekum Pawning facilities on reduced interest rate ( 0.5% concession)
  • Standing order facilities
  • Authority to suggest nominees

 

7. Internet Banking facilities

  • Provide facilities to check your balance and carry out other internet banking transactions via internet
