Requirements for submission of an application for Ran Kekulu Scholarships and PFCA* Minor Scholarships
- Should have obtained a score above the required District Pass Mark at the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.
- Must be a holder of a Ran Kekulu Account, PFCA* Minor Account or eligible children's account.
- Children with Ran Kekulu accounts and other eligible account should have a minimum account balance of not less than Rs. 5,000/- prior to 25th January, 2023. (Among those applying, only the first 2,000 children who have scored the highest marks, will be eligible for scholarships)
- Children with PFCA* Minor accounts should have a minimum account balance prior to the publication of exam results on 25th January, 2023, of not less than USD 250 or equivalent in foreign currency. (Among those applying, only the first 100 children who have scored the highest marks, will be eligible for scholarships)
Eligibility for Special Gifts
- Should have obtained a score above the District Pass Mark at the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.
- Must be a holder of a Ran Kekulu Account or a PFCA* Minor Account or eligible children's account.
- A Ran Kekulu Account must have been opened and must have been in operation prior to the publication of exam results on 25th January, 2023.
- Completed application forms (available from www.boc.lk), including a copy of the examination results, can be handed over to any Bank of Ceylon branch.

Closing date for submission of applications is 31st March, 2023.
Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

- Should have obtained a score above the required District Pass Mark at the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.
- Must be a holder of a Ran Kekulu Account or a PFCA* Minor Account.
- Children with Ran Kekulu accounts should have a minimum account balance of not less than Rs. 5,000/- prior to 12th March, 2022. (2,000 children from among those applying, who have scored the highest marks, are eligible for Scholarships)
- Children with PFCA* Minor accounts should have a minimum account balance prior to the publication of exam results on 12th March, 2022, of not less than USD 250 or equivalent in foreign currency. (100 children from among those applying, who have scored the highest marks, are eligible eligible for Scholarships)
